OH MAN That looks good! I think I will do the center rib like that!
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I always wanted to give this a try.I've grooved my 900x20s and it makes a big difference on wet or snowy roads. It is a lot of work about 1 hr. per tire. For me though the work ended up to be worth it in my opinion. I used an Ideal tire groover with a #3 headand blade.

I bet they are louder but how could you tell over all the other noises a Deuce makes.I always wanted to give this a try.
How many miles have you put on the tires after they were grooved?
Since the groovin' got done, have you seen any sign of chunking?

Im 9B above Moyie Springs. I got the same tires and just got a pair of chains for the front (350$) and a pair for the outside rear (150$). there is so much thick ice on the gravel roads, every 90 degree turn was 120+.I'm in the process of doing all my tires. These are the 11R20 michellins. Never driven the truck on snow or ice yet, but I know the big flat lugs aren't going to be my friend.
