Hey all, My temp gauge works, dash lamps work.
However my volt and oil pressure are not!
I have read , I think every tm !!
Checked every connection 4 times, checked every ground wire, all located to bottom of gauge.
This is a 1988 4 man soft top , 998?
Gentle men what have I missed?
I know its some thing simple!
Thank you all in advance!

Hook up an electric tester to the back of the volt gauge when power should be there and see if there is voltage. If so, i would consider new gauge.

I did on both accounts! I have read the thread mentioned, and by looking at the wiring diagram I'm supposed to attach the individual ground wires to the BOTTOM mounting bolt on each gauge. Is this correct?
All gauges except the fuel gauge worked before this happened.
That is what is confusing me.
Pulling my hair out!!!

Interesting, I am having the exact same problem after an engine swap. My dash lights work and my temp gauge, none of the other ones do. I printed out the TM for instrument panel and was going to tackle it this weekend. Curious how your pans out if it the same.

Though I haven't read the TM for the HMMWV I have read plenty if TMs and most of them have an excellent troubleshooting section in them that will take you through a step by step check to find out what is or isn't working with your gauge. If the TM has trouble shooting procedures I would follow them and see if you can isolate the problem.
