I did replace the king pin springs not to long ago, it didn't help. I've also replaced the steering stabilizer. I've read the tie rod ends are my next best bet but they seem fine. there isn't any play in them..

Make sure your frame isn't cracked at the steering box. I don't know if it was a problem with MV's, but civvy chevies were known for it. Death wobble can be a huge pain to diagnose. Things like steering stabilizers sometimes hide the issue. It doesn't take much - one worn or loose component and hitting a bump wrong can set it off. Look for a cracked leaf spring too.

I'll have to check into some more when I go back home. i put 37's on it and that seemed to help a lot until until i tried replacing the king pin springs and some how that made it worse. Its wierd cause cause most of the time I can turn the wheel to the real quick and it would stop. It's driving me crazy i love driving the truck but dont want to cause i dont want to get stranded.

You need to do something called a "dry park check." Have somebody get in the truck with the engine off and the steering wheel unlocked. They need to turn the wheel back and forth about 45-60° over and over and over again. You need to be on the ground under the front end. Put your hand on every single tie rod, drag link and part of the steering system you can see. You will feel slop in your fingers before you hear it which will be before you see it.

Then jack up the front axle so the tires are abut 1-2 inches off the ground. Put the truck on jack stands so it won't move. Grab the top of a front tire and try to pull it to you, push away from you. You will feel and possibly hear any slop. Have your helper find out what is moving. Could be king pins and it could be bearings.

The next check is to put a pry bar with a curved end under the tire with the pointy part in the ground. Pick up and see if the king pins have any verticle slop in them.

This will take you 10 minutes and 1 helper. Every part of the steering system will get checked and no money has to be spent until you know what is moving when it shouldn't. My Hunter alignment book says no "visible movement" is what should be observed for all the parts. Yes, tie rod ends can twist, but nothing else.

After all this is done, parts replaced if needed and you still have troubles. Swap your tires around because you probably have one or more out of round or out of balance.

I say save time is money and you could spend a butt load of time and not find anything. I would go to the local Bell Tire, they have an alignment specialist at every store and he will diagnose and find the problem free of charge. They even tell you the parts they have to fix. get the quote, they are free to, and get the parts yourself. If you have the time and the knowledge fix it yourself. If your flush have them fix it. Thats my two cents....

I'm not sure how old the shocks are, i do know that they only have a little over 11k miles.

I'm gonna have to try the tie rod ends next, the king pins are both new, put a new steering stabilizer on it and i've tried seeing if there was any play in the tire while i was putting my SSR's on it, didn't see or feel any play in them then.

A good way to check the shocks is to take the temperature of the body after driving it for a while. Then compare the shock temp to something non moving near it. Same temp and the shocks are not doing anything. Big temp difference and the shocks are working great.

They make heat when they work is the point.
