(VAZ) ВАЗ-Э2122 (4х4)

First an experimental amphibious vehicle VAZ-E2122- based Niva was manufactured in 1976, the finalized version appeared only in 1987. It was successfully tested, but due to lack of funding has not gone into production. Presented in a museum specimen equipped with an engine VAZ-21011 (1,3 l). (UAZ) УАЗ-3171 (4х4)

In 1981-1986 he. created a prototype vehicle UAZ-3171. He was supposed to replace the jeep UAZ-469, produced in 1973. The new design body : two-door. Soft top is stretched on the frame, reinforced safety arcs. There were versions with closed body type "wagon." The car was equipped with a carburetor engine UMZ-414 (2.45 liters). Prototype of a floating car LuAZ-1901 (6x6) appeared in 1979. It was an extended version serial model (TLC ( transporter leading edge )) - LuAZ-967M (4x4). On three axes car could accommodate four stretchers with wounded, instead of two. Constant drive carried to the rear and middle (through) axes and the front axes made switchable. Managed were two front axles. Movement afloat (up to 5 km / h) occurred due to rotation of the wheels. Tests showed that the power from TLC engine MeMZ-967A (1,2 l, 37 hp..) for the heavier car is not enough, and the series it did not go.
The work for create car again resumed in 1999. On the machine, dubbed LuAZ-1901 "Geologist", established an experienced diesel 3DTM (3-cyl., 1,5 L), developed in the HKB them. Morozov. Body completely changed to improve its hydrodynamic properties. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding "geologist" has become a museum piece. Cargo. - 0,65 m, or 6 people. Powerful. - 48 HP. Interesting mini-car (2,65 x1, 35h1,23 m). This project of two students of the Ryazan road School - Sgt V. Dodonov and V. Kuznetsov. UAZ-3172

Ground clearance to 330 mm. Suspension - spring, dependent. Could operate at temperatures ranging from -50 to +50 deg. at an altitude of 4.5 km. Water - up to 1 m. The cargo. - 1 m or 10 people. Speed - 115 km / h.

GAZ-3301 (4x4)

In the mid 80's. was a question of replacing GAZ-66. Already in 1987 there was an alternative - GAZ-3301 (4x4). Modified car had a cabin on same chassis GAZ-66. The main difference - the engine, economical diesel.
Bearing capacity 2,5 t instead 2,0 t (GAZ 66) but the weight of the truck was nearly a 1000 kg heavier (curb weight - 4,4 m vs. 3.47 m Gaz 66). Besides the experience gained in Afghanistan, showed the advantage of classical configuration, which provides the best anti-mine protection. That is why Gaz-66 replaced on GAZ-3308 "Sadko".

ZIL-433410 (6x6)

In 1992 created a seasoned ZIL-433410 (6x6). Create as a replacement army truck ZIL-131, produced from 1966. Novelty is received an improved design, more streamlined hood and cab, windshield - two halves of the plane instead of the bent windshield.

This engine for Ural-744 V8, produced under license from Deutz Kostanai diesel plant in Kazakhstan. However, due to the collapse of the Soviet Union company soon stopped working. ZIL-6009 (10x10)

In 1990 appeared a prototype of an active autotrain ZIL-6009 (10x10). It was created with by the Sverdlovsk ( branch ZIL) and automobile plant and Bryansk.
Was intended to replace the serial train ZIL-137. Consisted of a truck tractor ZIL-443114 (6x6) with the original design and a two-axle semi-trailer. If ZIL-137 semitrailer had hydraulic all-wheel drive that delivers in use a lot of trouble, here we use a simpler - a mechanical drive that does not require a robust pipeline of high pressure. KrAZ-5E63151 (6x6)

In 1984, KrAZ presented a series of truck " Discovery " : 6x6 and 8x8 and 10x10 active combination. They were equipped with new multifuel diesel engine YMZ-8425 (V8) and in 1985-1988. were tested in different climatic zones of the USSR.
With the disintegration of the Union test ceased. On foto a KrAZ-5E63151 (6x6), 1989 Hood - with round dry type filters on the sides. Cab - with a bullet-proof windshield whith hinged side windows (12 mm) and reinforced rear wall. Cargo. - 10 so powerful. - 360 liters hp.

KrAZ-6E6316 (8x8)

As part of the work on the project of "Discovery" in 1984 on the testing created new truck - KrAZ-5E6316 (8x8) with a cab over the engine. However in 1987, at the request of the Defense Ministry need had to quickly make the car a different layout - with a cab in front of the engine.
New KrAZ-6E6316 got three sections bullet-proof windshield and hinged armor plates (6-mm aluminum panel). For privacy he was given label "under civilian truck "Siberia Turbo ».

Ural-5323 (8x8)

The first prototype of the four axels Miassa - without hood truck Ural-395 (8x8) appeared in 1972. A new phase began for this model in 1985 when the plant has created a model 5323 (8x8) capacity 9 tons with an engine of 260 hp with balancing wheels and new suspension system and swap tires from the cockpit . In 1993 created a 10-ton Ural-5323-20 with YaMZ (300 hp).
