I was just up in Denton last Thursday. Did some troubleshooting on the locomotive batteries, and fired up a friends boiler he just bought. Wife also surprised me and said she wants to come with. Is it rally time yet?!?

Good deal. Nancy had a great time two years ago, especially in having her first helicopter ride. She's an RN and is working three night shifts that weekend though so she won't make it this year.

I have a similar question as well. I've never attended this event but I'm planning to be there this year along with the family and our WC63. Do folks do road rallies or trail rides in the nearby national Forest as part of the event?

We did a few years ago, a small group of us. Most of the trails at Uwharrie are tight for a big MV, but there are a couple that the smaller ones can navigate. It will just depend on who gets motivated to go.

Some friends who are in my local Jeep club will be camping at Baden Lake and will be hitting the trails all weekend (except for Saturday when they will stop by to visit us at the Farmpark...).
