Can you get a title, tag and get insurance on a m35a2 deuce and a half in Florida? What would be the process to getting one titled, getting a tag and getting it insured? If it can be tagged apportioned it wouldn't bother me

Beyond that, from what I've read it depends on what regional registration you go to. check this one from 2022.

I went through the nightmare, so you don't have to. When I got my m1078 transferred to me, Govplanet didn't do the title transfer, they just sent the paperwork to do it, and stated they don't do Florida anymore, it took me nearly eight months to get that paper work from them. They did charge taxes, so bring proof of paying taxes, or you'll end up paying them again. Bring all your paperwork with pictures. You might have to find a DMV employee who wants to help you. It isn't easy, but you can find them. Explain to them that it's a government auction vehicle, and they don't do title transfers. The tag and title are considerably more because (1078, 6x6, I don't know about the 4x4) gross vehicle weight is over 25k lbs. You will also need to have Commercial insurance. There is a workaround if you don't want to carry commercial liability insurance. They have an affidavit you can fill out and attest that you will not load anything bringing the weight to or over 25k lbs. Then, regular insurance works. I have insurance through Hagerty.
