Deuce battery question

Voltage (volts) does not kill. Current (amps) kills. If you can get enough current (milliamps, or amps) flowing through the heart (like possibly flowing from the one arm to the other), you can seriously interrupt, or even stop, the beating of the human heart... which can be considered electrocution.
Never got electrical burns til I contacted 750VDC. My wife heard the commotion (I broke a vacuum tube), asked if I was OK, and could apparently tell I was lying by the tone of my voice. I never built a circuit again without bleeder resistors on the caps (now at 1kV).

I'm not planning on taking my heart out and laying it across the battery posts!:-D we could debate this issue for ever and come to the same conclusion.
But your point towards safety is still well taken!
