Try taking a jumper cable across the brake light switch on the master or by the air-pack and see it the lights come on. If they work then the switch maybe bad. My switch is a little out of sorts so I ran two wires up to the gear shift and place a toggle switch there to manual activate it for now.

The switch is on the master cylinder/airpack . I hope you know where the master cylinder is , you should be checking the fluid with the daily pre-trip inspection . It is a single circut brake system , if it gets low on fluid or develops a leak you lose all your brakes .

Download and read these ; GTA-9-1-1851-8.pdf It will assist you with location and name of parts

I've been on the phone with Loki this evening and I think we've got him sorted out. I'm almost certain it's the air operated brake light switch. His truck looks like it was already upgraded.

I already have the air switch upgrade and have no brake lights. Does the truck have to be running, with air pressure before the lights will work since the retro switch is in the airline now?.

That's what I thought as well. I didn't know the air switch was on there until last night. I switched out the tail lights with the new led models but have been looking for brake lights with no air pressure in the system. I'll air it up and see if they come on tonight, I bet they do...................

Needs air Pressure to operate new style air switch!! Just short between the two wires at the switch no matter witch type you have and they should light . Also the 3 lever switch must be have power to lights on . Test with a test light to see if you have power at the brake light switch , if so short between the 2 terminals and it should light the brake lights . If it does not remove the tail light lens and check for current at the bulb contacts while the brake switch remains shorted, if you have current there then you need new bulbs !! Good luck and have a great and safe day, Dave
