Deuce breather tube fittings

This may be a dumb question but on my 69 multifuel there is nothing hooked up to the two fittings shown in the picture below. This is a picture of one off the truck I have but it is identical with nothing hooked up which I thought was strange, but maybe those are for certain applications or accessories? They are open with no plugs in them or anything.

One is for the master cylinder vent line, its recommended by a lot of folks to do away with that. So no worries on that one, the other, hmm, i can't recall off the top of my head but i'm sure someone knows.

My truck has the fuel tank vent line running to the bottom fitting. My master cylinder vent has been separated from the fuel tank vent. The top fitting is empty on my truck.

Eh, you aren't really missing much. As long as the vent line ends up there somewhere you should be just fine.

3 feet of 1 1/4 hose makes the perfect road draft tube addition and seperate the two vent lines that run from the Master and the fuel tank run them high on the firewall then loop down a couple of inches to a vent cap that is like on the axles. Of course put plugs in the road draft tube.
