Deuce fluid question

I am getting my deuce all up to spec and I have decided to put new fluid in it.....I dont think it has ever been changed!lol My question is :what kind/ brand of brake fluid, axle fluid, and oil is recommended in these types of trucks?

That is all covered in the TMs. http://test.steelsoldiers.com/upload/M35/LO9-2320-209-12-1.pdf Most of it should be in this one. Brake fluid could be DOT3 or DOT 5. There is a thread that tells how to tell the difference, just search for it.

Yep, just figured to get it over with. It does take a while to figure the search function out though.

DOT 5 is the best non corrosive fluid for your system. DOT 3 mixes with condensation and water while DOT 5 does not.
