Deuce gearbox bearings

Hi everyone,

I’m rebuilding the gearbox in my truck (rumbling box when in neutral and whine when moving), I’ve got 4 of the 6 bearings but can’t seem to find any part numbers for the reverse gear bearings (haft at the bottom of the box) it has two long needle rollers with a cage at either end.
If anyone can provide the part number (or somewhere I can buy them), that would be amazing!

I’ve attached a photo of the bearing and an excerpt from one of the TM’s which shows the shaft in question but not the bearings annoyingly.

Last time i did one of these transmissions i used BCA J-361644.

Really ? The sizes are different to 708321, OD for the BCA is 1.620,
OD for 708 is 1.5

Doesn’t sound like a lot, but how did it go back together ?

They must have fit. Google 3110-00-120-4276 one of the prime vendors is federal mogul. it shows j32-1664.For some reason i have j-361644 boxes from my last rebuild.

The J32-1664 bearings are the same as the 708231 bearings mentioned in the TM.
It’s a shame the BCA J-361644 bearings don’t fit as they’re a fraction of the price haha

Take another look at that chart: problem is you got that part number wrong: GG is 708231, not 708321

That number is not correct. Should be J32-1664

That was a typo, and the bearings on Amazon are out of stock. But thank you anyway

I just ordered two myself. It says they are in stock and should arrive in two days.

Well my bearings arrived yesterday. Packages where a little worn, but the bearings were new.

Frustratingly mine are still on their way. I couldn’t order from Amazon though, wouldn’t let me. I sourced some on eBay.
