I've seen other video on this truck and talked to the guy about it. It's a nice 4 link suspension under it but is strictly a toy for mud holes. Still pretty neat though.

Different strokes for different folks; to each his own. I for one want the best of both worlds and this is not a daily driver. The mud boys in Florida would love it though.

From the sound of the whining, the truck probably has an SCS or Pro-Fab dropped transfercase. They both make an incredible amount of gear whine. Straight cut gears, nature of the beast.
