howz this?

1200x20 singles , twins ARE a bit "over the top" tendancy to "push" the fronts too much. and the look is not all that bad? my lad and his personal choice...

addandum to post

Hassan...you do not have to flip the drums on our mod and (just) drill out the rivets on your front rims and ask a good welder to replace the (reversed) centres 4" out OR to your choice. and the stance is appealing, the mpg well enhanced, as is the CRUISING speed..2000rpms = ALL you need to do.

We put 12.5R20 tires on the rear duals on one of our deuces.

Continental 12.5R20's dualed out on the rear axles with the factory rims and put the Michelin X 12.5R20's on the front on Boyce one piece rims.
Had no problems at all putting the Continental tires on the deuce rims

Doesn't tiresize usually consist of 3 numbers?. The reason I am asking is because I am presently looking up tiresizes to get a rough estimate on what 11 tires for a deuce would run me when i eventually get one :). Aren't the "normal" size specifications something like this xxx/12.5 R 20 or xxx/9.00 R 20 and the xxx bit is the bit that everyone seems to omit each and every time I see someone talk about tires :(

The metric measurement is 3 numbers (width in mm/aspect ratio in %/rim diameter ie: 395/85/20)
Inch tire size is also generally 3 numbers (height in inches/width in inches/rim diameter ie: 46x15.5-20)
Military sizes like 9.00 and 14.5x20 have the aspect ratio based on decimal places 2 digits 100%, 1 digit 80%.
So a 9.00x20 would be 38x9x20
and 14.5x20 would be 43x15x20 (numbers rounded to nearest whole digit)
Also of note, the "R" signifies the tire as a radial, so a 9.00x20 and a 9.00xR20 should not be run on the same axle due to performance issues between radial and bias tires.

So let me get this right

If the width of the tire is written as 9.00 or 9 then the height of the tire is also the same as the width?, ie a 100% aspect ratio.

While if its written as 12.5, 14.5 etc then the height of the tire is 80% of its width thus the 80% aspect ratio?

And sorry if I am asking a lot, I'm just trying to understand that off way of figuring out tiresizes :p

Just found this, please let me know if its is actual correct or not:

3 or 4 digit number: The section width (cross section) of the tire in inches. If the tire diameter is not given, section widths ending in zero (e.g., 7.00 or 10.50) indicate the aspect ratio is 92%, while section widths not ending in zero (e.g., 7.05 or 10.55) indicate the aspect ratio is 82%.

As an example, if a tire size has two sets of numbers (6-12, 5.00-15, 11.2-24) the first number (5.00-15) is the approximate width in inches; the second number (5.00-15) is the rim diameter in inches.
If a tire size has three sets of numbers (15x6.00-6, 26x12.00-12, 31x15.50-15) the first number (26x12.00-12) is the approximate height in inches, the second number (26x12.00-12) is the approximate width in inches, and the third number (26x12.00-12) is the rim diameter in inches

Was adjusting the offset on the front rims Required to clear when at full steer with the 12.00x20's?? Also, would you mind posting a couple more picks of the back end of the truck? I'm thinking of running 12.00x20 singles on stock rims if I can leave the offset alone on the fronts. Thanks very much.
