A freind of mine has a problem, can any one help?

Any Ideas?

I have a 1970 m35a2 non turbo. On the way back from Brians funeral my deuce started to get a very high pitch whistle when I step on the gas, it is slowly getting worse the more I drive it. and it is taking longer to start and seems like it doesn't have as much power as before. It sounds like a vacuum leak but I can't find anything wrong I sprayed all around the engine with wd 40 when running but it didn't change anything. Do you have any ideas what it might be?

Sounds like a head gasket or intake gasket. Didn't we just have a "whistle" question earlier this week?

I have a real nice deuce non turbo that started to whistle a little as I would accelerate thru the gears. I found bad exhaust gaskets , replaced them and cured the whistle. Maybe change your fuel filters to cure the power problem. Napa 3511 and Napa 3512 or 3540. Or get my spin on adaptors JT out
