Deuce Won't Idle at Operating Temp

Forgive me if this has been covered but I did search and couln't find any threads covering this specific issue. The truck starts fine every time and idles fine. I will go a little ways down the road stop at a few intersections and it idles fine. The problem comes when it gets up to temp around 170 then it won't idle. I can pull the throttle cable out a little an she will idle around 1000 rpms, but much under that and she won't idle. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a worn hydraulic head plunger. Time to start shopping for a hydraulic head or an injection pump.

Consensus.

As it gets warm, it can't push the fuel. That's a huge sign of a worn HH.
