Diesel engine blow-by

How is the blow-by handled on the FMTV and newer trucks?
Is it included in the total emission measurement to meet EPA standrds?

Forgive my stupid questions, I'm retired and have way too much time on my hands and two big MVs in the yard.

Well, depends. Any engine manufactured after January 1 2007 will have a closed crankcase vent. so the cc pressure is factored into the readings monitored by th eengine ECM. Prior to 01-01-07, the CCV was an optional thing. Cummins Nat gas engines had/have it. All other engine platforms did not have it. It was not a monitored thing by EPA.

"Closed crankcase vent", with that I assume you mean recirculating the fumes back into the air intake after filtering out the oil, which drains back into the crankcase.
Add-on systems like that are available from Donaldson and Racor....
