Difference between an M923A1 and an M923A2?

This question has come up quite a bit in the past.
The A1 has the 855 cummins

The A2 has the 8.3 CTA Cummins, and CTIS (central Tire Inflation Systems)

Other then that they are similair trucks.

There is no better between the two, it is alot of personl preference.

I own both a -A0 truck (M927) and a -A2 truck (M931A2).

Right here the weather has been relatively cold lately (as low as 20 degrees) and I tried starting both just to see. The -A2 is CONSIDERABLY easier to start with ether assist. Really starts in one crank or two cranks.
