DIY Brush Guard M1028

Truck doesn't have the brush guard and I am having a hard time locating one for a reasonable price.

I was thinking of making my own. Anyone done it?

I was thinking about welding one up and flat cutting it but it wouldn't look at correct as the stock ones with rounded edges.

Could I use something like this to get the curves on the metal for the guard?: http://www.metalbendingtool.com/pro-2-bender/pro-2-bender

For the price of the tool you get 2 brushguards in Germany.
Just my 2 cent's

I've made a wrecker bumper, the brushguard is similar....
simply heated with an acetylene torch and bend around? some roundstock.
Soldier B is very helpfull
