Do lay people refer to your MTVR as a "Deuce and a half"?

Just like they refer to my MV Agusta F3 800, hand-built in northern Italy, as a "Ninja", and refer to every cruiser is a "Harley", even if it's a Honda Rebel 250...

Pretty much like every time I pull into a gas station in my custom-ordered Porsche convertible, someone approaches me to tell me that they used to own one just like it- except that it was a 1983 Pontiac Fiero...

...or like how I used to pull into a gas station (quite often) to refuel one of my Suburban mud trucks, and upon seeing the 44" Interco Super Swamper TSL (Three Stage Lug) tires and 20" of lift, some meth-addled booger-eater would undoubtedly approach me to exclaim that they "used to own one just like it"...except that it was an unregistered uninsured stock 1986 Nissan pickup with plastic body lift spacers and stolen 31" Korean mud-terrain tires purchased off Craigslist.

Everything is either a Jeep, HUMMER, or "Deuce & a Half" to most people. My HEMTT was called a Deuce & a Half a few times and I had to be gentle to the unknowing and inform them it used a deuce for a wheel chalk. rofl

The MTVR could carry two Deuces in the bed, and still have several tons of payload capacity left over...

And the big brothers can carry your MTVR, with the Deuces, on an M870, at 65mph, when you break down

@wreckerman893

We all know who @Elijah95 calls when he gets stuck on the side of the road

A co-worker was very excited to tell me that he found a Deuce and a Half on Craig’s List and he was thinking about getting it. Then he showed me pictures of a M923. He had a blank look on his face when I told him it wasn’t a Deuce.

Everyone wants a deuce till they realize if you are over 5ft 8 you can't fit in them. And they have no power steering.

I'm a large mammal. I have to ride around with the door open on a deuce just to fit.
