Do these 2.5 tons have sealed brake drums ?

I don't own one of these but did many years ago . I don't remember if they had sealed brake drums . Our local town has one of these with the large single tires. They were using it in flood waters last week . I told them they need to check all fluids . And was wondering if they had sealed drums if so they need to check them for leakage . Also it might be 5 ton . Have not stopped and looked at it . Thanks . Al

No, deuce OR 5ton, you need to go through the axles and drain, refill the trans and T-case. Might not be a bad idea to do the motor oil too.

Yeah, if they don't pull the brakes, all that grit will tear up the brake pads and render them useless quickly.
