Thank goodness for "Bubba" the rancher, who chopped the armor off of all those half tracks, used them and then parked them in a field, instead of letting them all get scrapped in the sixties. that goes for a lot of other Mil vehicles too.

It is what it started out life as.
Changing over to a 12 volt electrical system and a big-block chevy doesn't make it a corvette anymore than changing a vehicle's year by changing engines... when you're all done, it's still a CUCV.

It's yours. Do with it as you please (but please don't lower it or put dubs and low pro's on it:wink: ) and enjoy it.

I've caught flak on here for cutting on Big Ugly but eh, I love it and use it. It's my DD right now and it's a hell of a lot nicer to drive now than it would have been stock. I can hear myself think! I have a stereo and cupholders!:eek: It's more useful! Oh the horrors!:roll:

Purists annoy me. Might as well all be that guy with the numbers matching, picture perfect '67 427 Vette that never drives it and trailers it to car shows. Get over it. It was meant to be used and enjoyed.
