Interesting internal military survey of hmmwv mechanic's. Issues they face, problem parts, maintenance issues, service issues, etc. Worth a quick once over. Start on about page 40.... that's where the feedback responses start from the different rank/grades of the mechanics.....

Well, after reading all that I can definitely say that those are exactly all the concerns we Steel Soldier members have with the HMMWV... They hit on every poignant point I could muster up. I can't believe they didn't mention anything about tires... My biggest problem..

Back when I was contracting, Soldiers did not mount tires. Down Range, tires went to shop run by contractors. They mounted and balanced the tires. Back in Germany, same deal. Have no idea what went on in the States.
