Door Lock Replacement

The left hand door lock on my truck has stopped working correctly. I purchased the necessary replacement parts and want to get the same swapped out. It looks pretty straight forward, but it appears that the window hardware and glass has to come out before you can get to it to replace. Is that correct and any other tips before I tear into the door. Thanks. Chris

Usually if the window is rolled up there is enough clearance. Might try going to the library or auto parts store and gaze at one of the manuals for the civi model.
