I have not been able to search the TMs for specific info. The index is lacking. seems like I just have to browse thru hundreds of pages to try and find what Im looking for.

Brethern, I have a 1986 M1009, replaced thermostat, new coolant still have only lukewarm heat? Is there any way to get more heat? or hotter cab temp? thanks...

Go to the CUCV forum. At the top of the page, click on the "Post New Thread" button.

Give the post a meaningful title (not something cute, that makes people bypass it) and state your problem.

There have been many threads on issues with the heater core.
