The aluminum ladder is light and much better for stepping. The metal ladder is not.

[thumbzup] Since aluminum happens to also be a METAL, I'm thinking you meant to compare an aluminum ladder to a STEEL ladder.

Not being "anal", just clarifying for ya.

I have a Steel Ladder and it's almost too heavy for "daily use" and might someday torture me with a back injury or something.

I was just climbing in and out of my deuce today, loading up some big ole 48"X40"X40" metal crates full of junk for the Ga. Rally. The step is kinda high with the tailgate down. I recall trying to run and jump aboard a deuce when in vietnam using the step up rung and ended up laying down in a mud puddle.

Aluminum ladder is definitely the way to go! I'm going to buy a second one now just so I have a dedicated one for the deuce.
