Dual caliper fronts on a D60?

image.jpgMy Dana Ultimate 60 crate axles I bought a few weeks came with dual piston calipers on front and rear, so I'd say it shouldn't be hard to do. 8 on 6.5" lug pattern. It came with parts list for replacement parts. I can copy it for you.

I don't think anyone makes a kit. The caliper would be trying to occupy the same space as the casting on the front of the knuckle for the tie rod.

One caliper can get that rotor plenty hot, if I needed more brakes for towing I would be looking at upgrading all the trailer axles to brakes, exhaust brakes etc.
