Dual caliper fronts on a D60?

Just wondering if a kit exists? If a person put disk on the rear, seams dual up front would be the next step. Max braking when towing and all that.

My Dana Ultimate 60 crate axles I bought a few weeks came with dual piston calipers on front and rear, so I'd say it shouldn't be hard to do. 8 on 6.5" lug pattern. It came with parts list for replacement parts. I can copy it for you.

Would dual calipers be better than upgraded calipers and rotors?

I don't think anyone makes a kit. The caliper would be trying to occupy the same space as the casting on the front of the knuckle for the tie rod.

One caliper can get that rotor plenty hot, if I needed more brakes for towing I would be looking at upgrading all the trailer axles to brakes, exhaust brakes etc.

I understand, I do have braked axles. I've burnt a couple sets of brakes towing trailers without them. I know rims with air flow would help too, but I actually like the factory steel ones.
