Electrical Guages

I installed mechanical oil and water gauges in my M1009 when I fixed it up. Now I am the
owner of a M1008A1 now and want to put oil & water gauges also. I want to try electric this
time and found some Sunpro gauges for a reasonable price at Summit. Question is can I use electric gauges if I get a OEM sending unit?

That would be a question for Sunpro... To many variations in voltage to tell without knowing the guage specs.

Has anyone ever used an electrical gauge in their truck, besides voltage.

I used the electrical gauges in my blazer, sunpro to boot. Had nothing but problems replaced twice on the 3rd time I put in mechanical.
