Eliminate blackout switch

Ok i lied, I guess I'll both fix the wiring AND ditch the switch... But how do I?

anything special I need to worry bout when yanking the blackout switch?

if so what... Do tell??

The blackout circuit is NOT on the same circuit as the "main" light harness. The FAULT FUNCTION will remain, with it (the blackout switch) in or out of the circuit. Start and check the pointers I already made, Remove the 'hot wire short' and the proper functions in main and blackout lights will be restored. Unless I am missing a trick here, I don't believe there is a "separate" black out switch in addition to a "lighting switch". If I am incorrect, Then disregard my comments.

You need to find the problem before hacking the wiring up even more . It looks like you changed to column to a column thats not correct for a CUCV .
