i beleive my drum is distorted causing vibration on my new truck. i think this because the e brake parts are all destroyed and linings were missing completley. my question is this, is there a certain torque value on the yoke nut or is it like a wheel bearing where it needs a correct preload??

the yoke nut is just torqued down, no preload needed since all it does it hold the drum on.

The TM should have the torque value. I'm betting its in the -30 (look for parking brake replacement)

You should find what you need in TM9-2320-361-34

The TM for the 3052 transmission is TM9-2520-246-34.
