Engine removal

I started the engine yesterday after I rebuilded the carburetor it good. But the main seal started leaking bad. So the question is can I unbolt the 4 bolts hold the trans to the bellhousing and pull the engine. Thanks everyone.

I prefer to pull the engine with the transmission attached because I hate having to stab transmissions into clutch assemblies while lying on the floor.

Right now I am going to remove the water pump to get the room to get past the front radiator support maybe.

Took water pump and Gen off and got the engine out.
