Engine stalling @ idel

Hey All,
I drove my deuce for the 1st time today for an extended time. I found when i would let it sit for a cool down period it will run for about 1-2 minutes and stall. It will start back up in about 2-3 minutes.
Please help me DEUCE GODS!
Im stumped

first filter requires loosening the alternator and moving it out of the way. Then you turn the big bolt on the top of the filter housing counter clockwise until you see the filter can turning. Then you wedge the wrench between the center bolt and the inner fender, climb down and rotate the filter can clockwise until it can drop. I searched and replaced that part with a hydraulic filter base that accepts a spin on filter and suggest you do the same. Now on to the 2nd and 3rd filter's on the driver's side of the motor. Hold the filter can and loosen the bolt directly above it. Some convert those to spin on's as well but I don't have any issues out of them as my primary on the passenger side frame is a lower micron filter than they are. It catches all of the junk and is very easy to replace.

Unless you drained the fuel and replaced it, I would expect it to do it again soon.

Iv'e got next week off thats my big project.Filters where bad but no sludge or funky stuff in the bowls.Do you recomend adding injector cleaner in new batch of fuel?

I always run power service in my truck year round. It keeps every thing in good shape. ATF is a good system cleaner but the die is the same as off road diesel.
