The EUC for your Sale number 4378 was sent to DRMS for approval over 45 (forty five) days ago. As of today, no approval has been received, with no reason having been provided to us. Due to length of time with no response, we have cancelled out this sale, at no penalty to you, and will be returning the merchandise to our general inventory.

We appreciate your business, apologize for any inconvenience, and welcome you to bid on future Government Liquidation auctions not requiring an End Use Certificate.

From the Terms and Conditions
End-Use Certificates that are submitted and not approved for property removal within 45 days may lead to the sale being voided at our discretion, and we have the right to dispose of the property at our discretion. Additionally, if a submitted EUC is denied clearance for authorization to release property, we reserve the right to assess liquidated damages to the amount of 25% of the winning bid amount.

(As mentioned above, you WILL NOT be penalized or assessed any default fee for the cancellation of the above mentioned sale.)

The money paid for your sale is being refunded. If originally paid via credit card, you will receive a refund to that card within the next 3 business days.
If you paid via cashier’s check, money order or wire transfer, please allow 7-10 business days for the refund check to be processed.

I got the same letter. This sale is just gone, broke my heart when it happened to me too.

Get in touch with your congresscritter ASAP- I believe this is your only recourse. This truck is lost but you can get a clear path for your next one.

Did you guys get letters by snail mail,or e-mails?

GL seems to be so inconsistant, you can't seem to map out what they're doing.

I'm fingernail biting waiting a battlecreek EUC return, I'm waiting bout 20 business days now. and my auction ended on 7-9-09 it took GL 2 weeks to to send to BC.

ARRRRRGH! I wouldn't mind waiting 6 months like the Pioneers of drmo buying did, but if it sits on someone's desk and they're out for vacation/sick/pregnant/, and it passes the 45 day mark, that's BS.

But when you're a monopoly, you can do as you wish:roll:

canceled, with no reason being provided to us-- read that as, somebody was to lazy to finish the stack of EUC's that yours happened to be in, since they are government customer service doesn't mean squat. But remember pay your taxes next year cause they sure wont lose that paperwork.

Also the 45 day deal. I know some people's EUC have taken way longer then 45 days, as much as 4 months, and in the end there's was approved. I guess not alerting GL after the 45 day mark may be best, that way hopefully they wont notice and cancel the sale before the EUC gets approved.

When I did all of my paperwork, the euc specialist, had me sign/scan/send a copy of the Export letter (that she sent me Via E-mail) back to her with the revisions.

So I guess I'll be all e-mail, hope I don't get the kiss off letter:neutral:

Oh MAN I'M REAL ANGRY. Ok enough caps lock anger. I'm contacting my Congressman about this. 45 days for sitting on someone's desk is a sick joke.

Mine went to battle creek on the 12th also. Still waiting on mine to. I wonder if we ours back the same day. Let me know when you get yours

How they process them makes no sense to me. Is there really that big of a back log? If they really do keep some of your information, then after the first one as soon as they recieve it, shouldn't it be BAM he's in our system, good to go? i mean we are in the computer age, we have the ability to store and sort through thousands of records in a matter of seconds.
Well I got mine approved today:grin:

My EUC was submitted on 4-14-10. The DLA still doesn't have all of the demil paperwork. I'm sorry to say that you will probably be waiting for a long time.

EUC Submitted to BC on 12/7

I am at 26 days... hoping for late Jan/Early Feb pickup.

I have had Top Secret SIOP:ESI clearance in the Navy, a background check as a State employee and a Secret clearance as a BAE employee (within the last 4 years).

They should type my name in and every government database should give a 5 start - 'He's a good guy' reply in milliseconds.

What the heck could DLA possible check on? That I gave my correct home phone number?

I don't begrudge the DLA/GL employees for the process, but at least they can look up my stats a wee bit quicker. None of the above security clearances took more than a month to get an Interim clearance.
