Ever clean out the air tanks?

I have in line ball valves, good size handle still cool , have to reach under to exhaust em, and they drain fast and hard, and push everything out, Sorry but I think the pull chain things are a little sissy...[thumbzup]...Sorry but thats just me, ...randy

Before I would go off and re-weld a stainless steel end on a carbon steel tube, I would go to a local truck salvage yard or purchase a set of tanks off a fairly new wrecked truck.

My local Crazy Rays junk yard charges $25 per tank.

Also, a few companies have started making air tanks out of fiberglass just like the tanks made for CNG vehicles. If they can operate at the temperatures and pressures associated with a CNG tank, a 200-250 PSI rated air tanks would be small potatoes or potato's for those spelling challenged.
