Exhaust in the cab

Currently my tank has K1. The past 2 times that I have warmed up the deuce, when I climbed in to drive the cab was full of the strong smell of exhaust. I did not notice this when I was running diesel, but its horrible. So do I have and exhaust leak somewhere or is this an occurrence with alternative fuels.

Check the J pipe at the bottom and where the flange meets up with the turbo. Have you been driving it or mostly idling it?

My son and I do not get it unless the wind is from an unfavorable direction. It would be good to check for leaks, though to be sure. You should see them as black smoke marks on a pipe or joint where the leak is.
If K1 means kerosene, be sure to put some lubricant in your tank to keep the pump and injectors working without galling. Lucas or another good brand of lubricating additive is a good way to go. This is a good idea even with diesel because of the low lubricity of the new fuels.

Exhaust

I filled it up with K1 on 4/25 warmed it up and drove it to a rally, ran it all day 4/26, its been parked till last fri. when I moved it across the road to the house to work on it then back on sun.(first time I noticed it), moved it back across the road last night(2nd time), and was going to drive it to work( 3rd time) but it was too much. So I guess the answer would be yes I have been idling alot in the past 2 weeks.

And I did add 1 gallon of ND 30wt oil when i filled the tank with K1.
