I use this self-adhesive closed cell 5mm foam for another purpose (Special Forces GMV IED Kevlar Seat anti-squeak). When applied to your fuel cell along the V support bracket area at the B Pillar it can help eliminate the annoying squeaks: CJ5 Jim still has the remnant of a similar foam material on his original fuel cell

To make it last even longer, I recommend taping off the area to be applied using blue painter tape, then using 3M #77 spray adhesive as a primer for the self-adhesive cement.
