The fdc tries to take a broad range of fuels and make the HP output the same for all those fuels. Its basically wide open for low BTU content fuels and shut down for high BTU content fuels.

If your installing a boost gauge and a Pyrometer.... since the truck is 24v and most gauges are 12v did others on this site just use a power converter or are you actually using 24volt gauges..... I found a power converter at this site what do you think? M35 For Sale. Only the back light is powered. You can swap out the 12v bulb for a 24v bulb. The pyro reads a voltage created by the thermocouple and the boost reads vacuum. No need for a converter imho.

That's not true for all pyros. Isspro for example has pyros that require power input. However Isspro makes the power supplies modular. You can remove the 12v module and insert the 24v. And buy the correct illumination bulb!
