Fifth Chipped Teeth

if you decide to repair it rather the replace the whole unit its not hard to remove the top shaft without removing the trans from the truck.Remove the shaft ,replace fifth gear and any other problems (I'd replace both sychros while im in there).
And put the shaft back in.Easier said than done but it can be done and beats the **** out of removing the trans to do the same job.
