Fifth wheels

The fifth wheel plate on my m931 is different from the others I seen. I am wondering how rare it is and opinions of it.

That's a nice plate, its called a Kompensator, and it's a better version of the standard fifth wheels that have two pivots perpendicular to each other. Commonly found on the 916's.

That looks like the one on my M932A2, but the one on my truck has the locks, like for high way and off road use.

Now I need to go check my M931A2 and see what plate it has.

Now would there be any advantage to locking it with my m146

Lock the side to side pivot to reduce the trailer swaying going down the road.

So now I'd like to find side locks for my compensator or another whole compensator fifth wheel.
