Finally found heavy service and technical manuals for the CAT 3116 !

I have searched everywhere for CAT technical manuals. The CAT dealer will be happy to sell you some for big bucks. Being the frugal guy I am, I searched everywhere. I found a website in NZ that has a membership fee of $19.00 for 1 week, where you can download the major manuals for this engine! Some 3126 info too. Complete assembly and disassembly manuals, troubleshooting, specs, system operation, testing and adjusting, service manuals. Keep in mind that our engines are typically the same, BUT are turned up for more power.

The technical manual for the Governor is 537 pages long. Translation: DON'T GO THERE AND PLAY

If it is a official caterpiller manual it probably is and they are going to want their cut.
