Long story on obtaining this plate which I won’t discuss as per the rules but after a few trips to the emission station where on the last one I finally got the fuel set correctly enough to pass county emissions success was finally mine. I turned the fuel back at the injection pump a total of an 1/8 of turn. The M998 is a 1985 model built in Feb, second month of initial production. Here is what I did for a plate holder. Sheet aluminum was cut with a cutoff wheel to make the holder. Bolts to my mud flap bracket and a simple 90 metal bracket. The light holder takes the same smaller 24 volt bulb used for the tail/running lights. Made a “Y” harness and tapped in the taillight harness for power.
