Thanks Capt. I have owned the truck now for exactly a year. The truck is versatile and has proven itself many times over. The death whistle is great :eek: too.

Quick question for everyone: When I start it up with no air in the tanks, the horn gives a quick toot when building air pressure. Is this normal? Isn't the low air buzzer electronic? Just wondering.

yes the low air buzzer is electronic. That's strange. Make sure your horn button is working (like not stuck) and also check the hoses going to the horn, in the first place. (I don't own a deuce, but have looked at them close-up before.)

Prolly a weak spring in the solenoid valve. A little air escapes until the valve finaly closes.
