Use distilled water and you can use on electrical fires.
Uh, NO!!!

You cannot use any water or liquid for an electrical fire. Distilled water for fire suppression is ONLY used in specialized high pressure (5000psi) fog systems for electronic equipment, ie, computer main frames. Once the electric is shut off and de-energized, you have a class A, B, or D fire and can use the appropriate extinguisher.

pure, aka distilled water does not conduct electricity. it is the minerals and chemicals in the water that conduct the electricity.

I carry a small first aid kit, Lord knows it get use with me, fire extinguishers, flares and warning triangles along with the usual gear in my 109.
