Pulled this truck out of the weeds two years ago and started working on it last June. It had been left abandoned for decades. The engine was seized and ended up replacing it with a different 302, new wiring, brakes, fuel system, and a hole other mess of broken and stuck parts. Had good dry weather today and moved 3 loads of fill dirt into washed out waterways. Put on 96 miles since it first started. Still got work to do like build a bulk head for the bed, finish the exhaust, and paint. Fun times making old equipment work again. 69E50702-E7D9-4AFA-A2FF-B702370123B0.jpg8C82F21A-92C6-4751-8813-81B1C3F4AFD8.jpg

ThatIs awesome. Thanks so much for sharing that. I’ve seen 3 to 4 this past year on the Internet that people have junked out. Sad they don’t try and recover them because it is one of the trucks that has a lot of usefulness. Keep us posted on your progress

Gotta say thats an awesome job to be proud of. There is a guy on facebook in PA that just scrapped one and may scrap a second. Quite a sad deal. But looks like your on your way to saving one!
