I bought a new flasher control, and I have no idea where it is on my 70 Kaiser! There is one large box above the heater box in the cab, iarger than the flasher unit, is that it, is it inside? I am stumped?

That is your low air buzzer. The flasher is located on the left inner fender just back from the firewall.

Open up drivers side engine compartment inspection panel. Mounted on fender just in front of the fire wall. Your new one may look different from the old one but it should be "fin" looking if that's a way to describe it.

Good thing to check out the TM and go step by step on the -20 maintenance manual. And if you haven't, read the -10 operators manual.

There are 2 different types of the controller, but the base of each is the same size (so that is uses the same bolt holes). One of them is short and square with lots of fins on it. The other is really tall and skinny with very few fins on it. My Deuce had the tall one but it burnt out the first time I used it so I put one of the short ones in it and have not had an issue since.

Thanks guys, you were right! The flasher control was an older style that I didn't even see. I changed it and they work perfect with the new unit installed, now I am gonna do my m818 cause it has the same symptoms! Thank you and thank steel soldiers for the help! Could not do it with out you!
