I hear a clicking noise coming from the start box even when the ignition switch is in the off position also my wait light is flashing . Should I assume that the start box is going bad? The truck starts and runs with no issues and I believe the box is a Nartron yellow label

One of the PCBs that I swap in and out of my HMMWV during maintenance sometimes thumps 2 or 3 times after shutdown.
Other than that it works fine, but I would say that is not "normal"
I had a cheap electric fuel pump, one of those "thumpers" that would sometimes not let the PCB (multiple PCBs) shut the acc power down, that was a little strange, a diode across that pump may have fixed that problem but I replaced it with a real pump.

Typically on a yellow narton box, The flashing could be the thermal temp switch on the water crossover pipe. It has to be matched to the box if you are going to replace it.
