electrician working next door came to see the Deuce today and said $3000 right now and I laughed at him and threw him out

He does not even know what it is
only looked at flip and squash for money
In my area, Washington State, deuces sell for 2-5k all the time and scrap is next to nothing currently so 3k isn't far off for an old high maintenance "hobby" vehicle that's loud and leaks when it rains. Second, I doubt any electrician is over bidding a job to buy extra copper to scrap it for literally pennys on the dollar. Who bids labor and materials seperate to begin with and second why wouldn't they just use the left overs on the next job.... more holes in this story than a rusty old deuce!
