Now that General Hood is out of diagrams there will be demand for the electrical diagram.

As noted, it does not cover the diagnostic harness or the electrical systems associated with the rear backhoe and hose reel system. The electrical diagnosis section of the TM manuals have partial wiring harness drawings of these systems.

On that note... I have about 1/3 of the diagnostics harness mapped out. It's not worth it folks. If you have the chance (cab up), pull it. It's just clutter in a (for it's time) highly complicated machine.

i believe it to be wired in parallel in its entirety. This is consistent with a simple electrical diagnostics system. I.e. Cutting wires in this system are not going to affect the 419's base functions, the diagnostics circuits are merely add-ons.

Most of it centers around fuel filters (for diagnosing pump issues, apparently), and the starter system.

You will find most of the connections at ground points throughout the 419. I guess they are measuring power and resistance to check for problems. Nothing a good voltmeter and a little smarts can't deal with.
