There was a Civil War encampment at the fort, too. Here's a time warp photo and one from the ferry boat ride over to the Fort:

No siree bob. Trailered as far as Ft. Casey and offloaded there. Drove to Coupeville ferry and just drove the beast on. Rolled off the ferry at Pt. Townsend amid a flurry of cell phone cameras in the hands of the ferry workers. Our contingent of armored humvees, 5 ton trucks, a jeep, and a Russian motorcycle side car w/MG met us at the dock and we rolled right through downtown Pt. Townsend and on out to the fort where the encampment was.
