Hello.
So while I was out today checking out flea markets yard sales and pawn shops just basically spending a day walking around enjoying myself, the last place that I stopped was a pawn shop and they had this PRC- 10 radio on the Shelf.

I've had the battery boxes for these radios and some of the mics at different times, but I've never actually had the radio.

Seems to be in good condition does not have the battery or any other accessories other than the backpack attachment. I've opened it up and it looks really good on the inside.

Do these radios generally work? And if so how hard would it be to find the rest of the items I would need to Power on and test out the radio? Also how much are these radios roughly worth these days?

I will upload the pictures as soon as I can get to a wireless connection or a better signal.

Thanks ahead of time, Bobby

I have a working PRC-10, you can get a battery adapter/inverter from a man in Italy on Ebay, that's how I run mine. You will need a battery box, H-33 handset and an antenna.

Heh....
When I got to my first duty station when I was in the Corps, a corporal told me to go to the Gunny and tell him I needed a Prick E-7.... I did so and the Gunny looked at me and asked "Who sent you?" I told him and he had me go to the corporal and tell him to come to the battery office and get it himself....

He did. :naner:
