Oldham county clerk told me I couldn't get temp tags because it's not from out of state.

How is a bill of sale different than your paid-in-full invoice?

The address on the bill of sale is from GL in AZ....making it an out of state sale:wink:... It is different because it has to have the vin # on it, the invoice does not.

They're still loading them out

A friend of mine and I were in Frankfort yesterday, and we saw a deuce on a flat bed truck headed toward I-64. From the airport, we could see another loaded, and another moving around like they were getting ready to load it.

The pile at Frankfort is getting pretty small. I wonder if they will move more trucks in to sell from there soon? There have been a couple of trucks pop up on GL, but I'm guessing they were trucks that buyers defaulted on, or timed out, and were resold.

I know some of the folks at the KYNG were pretty fed up with it, at one time. The M35s took up a lot of space and with the hold and slow EUCs, they were there for a long time.

Sorry, no pics.

They are moving them to Redstone to sell. I have been back and forth on the phone with them trying to convince them that moving them was a dumb idea, but they say it is out of their hands. The KYNG said "get them out of here" and Redstone is their central vehicle sale location so that is where they go.

They had 53 to move from the Frankfort location and they said close to a 100 from another NG site.

They also said that they did not know when they will be listed because these trucks are still on hold for inspection.

That sucks. I had my eye on one at Frankfort and was going to bid on it when it came up. It's probably already been sold at Redstone. Oh well. I know when I was there once someone there told me that when they get the GL trucks out of there they aren't going to have anymore there - they were fed up dealing with GL. Of course that could have been that one persons view.

I've talked to more than one with that view. A couple of guardsmen I know said they thought it was pretty cool the first time they started bringing in all that equipment to sell. By the end of last year they were pretty fed up with everything being in their way all the time.

I didn't know they were moving them out, I just knew there were people there that said they'd be glad to see them gone.
